Lenovo Phab 2 Arives

Earlier this year, Lenovo and Google announced the first ever smartphone built with Project Tango. The Phab 2 Pro was initially expected to go on sale in September but was delayed due to some reasons. After several months of waiting, it is now finally available on the company’s official website.
Tango is a relatively new technology designed by Google that utilizes a depth-sensing 3D camera system. The smartphone’s camera sports an AR mode that fully supports augmented reality games, navigation and other utilities.

( function() { if (window.CHITIKA === undefined) { window.CHITIKA = { ‘units’ : [] }; }; var unit = {“calltype”:”async[2]”,”publisher”:”odimexy”,”width”:300,”height”:600,”sid”:”Chitika Default”}; var placement_id = window.CHITIKA.units.length; window.CHITIKA.units.push(unit); document.write(‘

‘); }());

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro features a 6.4-inch QuadHD display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset. The rear camera has a 16MP resolution with multiple sensors, while the front has an 8MP camera. The device is packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage with microSD support. A fingerprint scanner is available and a 4,050mAh battery powers the device.
Over 35 Tango apps that include Raise, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Spectra, Wild Race and Phantogeist are available for download. Lowe’s Home Improvement is an app that allow users to check out how household objects will appear in their homes before making a purchase.
The smartphone is currently available for $499 and only one color variant, Gunmetal Grey, is available for now.
